On one hand he’s Strongly Cheering on his Country-England.
On the other Hand his Favorite Player in the World is Lionel Messi. The Man who he Brought into his Club at Inter Miami.
Steve Yzerman will be fired if he decides to drag out the Captain of the Detroit Red Wings situation into the Regular Season. Everyone else will want to leave.
Yzerman has less leverage than most Fans understand. It’s his job on the line, the locker room is on the line, and the core players are likely already frustrated.
Steve won’t be bullied but he also can’t drag this out beyond this Summer. There are bigger issues with the Red Wings than just Dylan Larkin.
@stoolpresidente Wrong. You can’t stop Greatness. This isn’t a hard concept. He’s been the Greatest Player in the World for 20 Years. Supercomputers like Lionel come around once every 50 Years.
England didn’t Choke.
You can’t stop Greatness.
Messi is the Greatest of All Time. End of Debate.
Praying that Messi Wins Back to Back World Cup Finals for the First Time Since 1966-Brazil.
See, I don’t think Steve Yzerman is in a position to play Russian roulette with the locker room. This isn’t “evander kane” demanding a trade. It’s your Captain for the last Half Decade (Dylan Larkin), and he’s a leader in that locker room.
The players respect Larks. Steve hasn’t proven anything since taking over in 2019 besides that he can’t get his team to the playoffs in 7 years and his roster was booed off the ice in Game 82 at Little Caesars.
@RussoHockey@JoeSmithNHL great article today on the news of Yzerman. I just had a question on the last few sentences of the article.
“Yzerman’s departure doesn’t necessarily end their chances, but it injects uncertainty, delays a resolution and gives Detroit every reason to rethink a trade that had finally seemed possible.”
What do you mean “rethink a trade that had Finally seemed possible?” Are you referring to a reality that the red wings were truly coming around to the idea that they were coming around to a Wild trade offer or were you just referring to the whole idea of which the red wings were finally accepting the fate that Larkin wasn’t coming back and your last line had nothing to do with the Wild trending towards a deal between the two teams?
I want all Red Wings Fans to Bow Down and Realize how wrong they were. How many times did I say or did other people say that Steve Yzerman’s job was on the line and the longer he drags this out the more pressure he puts on him and the worse it gets for the dynamic of the locker room .
In a major development, the Red Wings announce Steve Yzerman is stepping down as the team’s head of Hockey Operations and becoming an advisor to Chris Ilitch.
A search for the team’s next President/GM is underway
@Tjonesonthenba I don’t disagree, just pointing out that a lot of elementary schools start at 7:30 and we already have commutes in the morning in Minnesota for the kids in January with complete darkness.
The Minnesota Twins have a Tough decision to make between Marek Houston and Kaelen Culpepper at SS Long Term.
Marek is the Better Defender at SS but Culpepper has a lot more Power offensively.
I’ve watched hundreds of LaMelo Ball interviews/press conferences and yes Minnesota Wolves Fams, this is how LaMelo Ball answers questions.
-Short Answers.
No Big Deal.
