We’ve got our first WPIAL winner at PIAA track, as Peters Township freshman Katie Froelich holds off South Fayette sophomore Angela Zeng to win the Class 3A 1,600. She’s the first Class 3A freshman girl from the WPIAL to win a state title since Madison Wiltrout in 2014.
