Mike D'Antoni's advice to aspiring NBA head coaches was surprisingly simple.
"You have to have the bond between the coaches and you have to invest time in that."
The culture your players experience is often a reflection of the culture your staff experiences.
If your coaches don't trust one another...If they don't enjoy being around one another...If they aren't connected...
Don't expect your players to magically create what the staff hasn't modeled.
Culture doesn't start in the player's locker room. It starts in the coaches' room.

🇸🇮6'6 Junior, Arne Osojnik (@arne_osojnik) will enters the #TransferPortal!
Northern Arizona's guard played 29 games (14 starter) this season and averaged 6.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1 assist per game in 16.1 minutes.
Arne has shown excellent scoring ability and transition game. He creates well from all situations, especially from screen calls and hand-off situations. Very active in defense, plays aggressively and with high energy.
One of the most consistent players in the BigSky conference, last two year played well for Eastern Michigan. He has the great character and leadership.
Definitely a good option for mid-major+ programs, somebody who knows to adapt on the role and find a way to create advantage.
