Freshman year. First varsity homer—but more importantly a big team win over a tough Springville squad. 💣⚾️ Proud of this group. #ClassOf2029#VarsityBaseball#TeamWin

Josh Allen is off to a great start. But there's more there.
He knows it. His teammates know it. And his head coach knows it.
This was a hell of an answer from Joe Brady.
Mike Tomlin with a rant about Josh Allen and if he will get it done, on a podcast with Chris Simms👀:
“You know, he’s writing that story. We’re at the tip top of the food chain. Everybody doesn’t get to win. Man, it is hard in this business. He’s in the midst of writing his story. I remember people used to say that about Peyton Manning a generation ago, until he got it done… Man this guy is competing against Patrick Mahomes and Matt Stafford and people like that who are also in the process of building hall of fame resumes and winning championships. My response to some of that stuff is to just keep watching… It’s only a matter of time man. It’s not possible - it’s probable. Just competing against him and feeling that competitive spirit in the waiting moments - he is a monster.”

As an Athletic Director, I believe we live in an era where too many high school athletes are chasing the scholarship instead of embracing the grind, development, and process that will make them better.
We also live in an era of the transfer portal, where opportunities for high school athletes are becoming more limited.
My advice to every athlete who wants to play at the next level is simple:
Focus on what you can control.
Control your effort.
Control your attitude.
Control your development.
Control how you respond to adversity.
Control how you show up for your team every day.
Don’t let the pursuit of a scholarship take away from the experience of becoming the best version of yourself.
If you commit to the process, embrace the grind, and become the best player and person you can be, you will have no regrets.
The scholarship should be a byproduct of your development, not the sole purpose of your journey.
Trust the process. Earn your opportunities. Become the best version of yourself.
Role Model: Mississippi State QB Kamario Taylor has gone viral for his wholesome interaction with a sideline reporter after last night's win.
"Yes ma'am, thank y'all. Hope y'all have a great night! Be safe."
It's clear Taylor was raised right ❤️👏
I said last week that LSU was gonna win the National Championship..
This stadium is gonna be upside down tonight and ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN..
I GUESS THE QUESTION WE’VE GOTTA ASK IS…
ARE YOU READY…
GIVE ME OLE MISS TO BEAT LSU AND LANE KIFFIN #CollegeGameDay
Analytics have ruined baseball. Baseball needs .300 hitters chasing .400. It needs line drives to the gaps, singles turned into doubles with speed. It doesn't need everybody swinging for the fences and striking out 200 times. Give me a team full of high OBP/high contact guys
