The Comets are just getting into spring football after another baseball championship run this weekend (and battling some big rain this week).
A heavy focus on foundation and process, but the standard and expectations are the standard and expectations. And they’re high as ever.
Heavy emphasis that no one should be satisfied and duplicating last year’s performance, even in a title win, is not enough. Everyone has to take steps forward, and the players are embracing that mentality and running with it.
Some places are just happy with making the playoffs, getting bounced, telling everyone what a great season they had, and patting themselves on the back.
After finally viewing several LHSAA 2026 football schedules, it’s apparent why some programs never get any better. Year after year they never schedule anyone tough and it shows. Come Thanksgiving break you can’t find these teams with a nuclear bomb.
While we celebrate the accomplishments of the 2026 baseball season with bringing home the trophy, a special thanks to the these Seniors and their families on an incredible year and career at St. Charles Catholic. #AlwaysAComet
What a year for St. Charles Catholic Athletics!
The Comets were down to their final strike trailing 3-2 but then Gabe Kugler's 2-RBI double sparks a four-run frame.
SCC goes on to win the state title over Vandebilt Catholic 6-5 in thrilling fashion just like in the Superdome.
