Liz first noticed the signs of dementia when her husband and lifelong Aston Villa Jim rang her with an out of character message after a visit to Villa Park.

‘Liz, I can’t find the car.’

That was the moment that prompted them to go to the doctor’s and seek a dementia diagnosis.

The diagnosis was life changing, and although it is a daily struggle, the dementia diagnosis opened the door to vital support.
