After a great visit with Coach Weyandt at Hamline University I am blessed to announce I have received another offer to play college baseball! @PiperBaseball@HUPipers
High school athletes: these ARE the good old days.
The team dinners.
The early mornings.
The bus rides.
The big wins.
The tough losses.
One day, you’ll wish you could get one of these days back. Don’t wait until it’s over to appreciate it.
Soak it in now.
The Zephyrs stand with Adam Massman’s family, friends, and Lincoln Hornets teammates and coaches for the remainder of this season. We will honor Adam by carrying his memory with us, and we lift them all up in prayer, along with the players and families from Turtle Lake. #LLA
After a great visit with Coach Maus at St. Norbert College, I am happy to announce I have received another offer to play at the next level for SNC! ⚜️ @sncbaseballGK
Today, CFB freshmen across all divisions, across the country are reporting for their first fall football training camp
4:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Football all day long. Double Practice + Lifts + Conditioning + Endless meetings + a new College Playbook that was as good as another language to me. My anxiety was at an all-time high from the fear of missing my alarm. At night, I couldn’t sleep without hearing whistles and coaches’ yelling replaying in my head
This picture was taken during my freshman camp in 2019. Just a few days in, my face was already war-torn🤣. I was miserable, away from home for the first time, and walking around in a trance.
I quickly realized that the love of football goes far beyond the flashing lights on Friday nights. You go from being one of the best players in your state to competing against talented freshmen and grown men three or four years ahead of you.
I went from being a big fish in a little pond to a little fish in a BIG pond.
That first camp felt like it lasted a year. Looking back, it flew by.
My advice to every freshman reporting today:
• Focus on one question: “How can I get better today?”
• Write down every mistake and how you’ll correct it.
• Study your playbook relentlessly, make flashcards every install and carry them with you wherever you go.
• Take care of your hydration and nutrition.
• Keep a positive attitude.
• Humble yourself.
• Learn to let mistakes go quickly.
You’re going to have plenty of “Welcome to college football” moments. Don’t let them break you. Learn from them, reset, and keep working!
Training camp is exactly that: training. For the next month, football will be your life from morning until night. Embrace it. You’re there to improve every single day.
Most importantly, Stay prayed up✝️
Romans 12:2
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Good luck to every freshman beginning this journey. Enjoy it! Goes faster than you think! @5StarFBRecruits 💫
Blessed to announce my commitment to Lawrence University! Very thankful for @coachdallas3 and @Jason_Kradman for giving me the opportunity to pursue football. #GoVikings
Recruiting is like dating. You must build a relationship with coaches and be consistent with it.
The offer is just the 1st phase. It's not over once you receive it the process is just getting started.
