Playing for me is tough, and coaching with me is just as tough. I am demanding and constantly push for perfection in toughness, hand placement, and footwork.
My coaching philosophy is built on the details. It’s the small things that I strive to install in my players every single day, because those details ultimately define success.
That’s why I have such deep respect for the offensive line. They do the work that often goes unnoticed so others can get the shine. I love the position, and I love every player I’ve ever coached there because they understand and embrace that role.
I saw a post by a strength & conditioning guy criticizing an nfl coach about a drill. Then he said follow a certain speed coach that has made nfl athletes faster. My question is how much does genetics play in speed development?
We've been hit by wet bulb conditions every day during our athletic period, forcing us back inside. Days like these remind us just how valuable our future Multipurpose Athletic Pavilion will be.

So to be in compliance for UIL, I have to take the UIL Test on Rank one. Good idea. I think we need to have trainings. Then I finish test. Still not compliant. Odd. Turns out you have to upload your results to rank one. From the test I took on… rank one.
As seasons begin, just remember that there is not much better than those Friday night lights. Enjoy the time you get to play the game with your friends and make every moment count.

@Thamannjr Our kid JP started his sophomore year on JV. Played half the year there at RB. By the spring of his Junior year he had 40 offers. Get the reps and get better!
