The Jesse Owens Classic was a blast. Many personal records were made. SR Kaitlyn Burge ran a 17:58 and placed 10th overall (first Mississippian), SR Graham Weiss ran 15:49, SR Riley Jackson 19:15, FR Trace Thornhill 16:56, and FR Kyleigh Carter 19:42.

Girls won first at the Tupelo Christian Twilight meet Thursday. The boys landed in third. Graham and Kaitlyn both finished first overall. We’re off to a great start of the season. #hernandorunning

Great meet day! We had 3 of each place in the top 10 of their races. Graham took 1st at 16:52 and Trace 2nd at 18:29. Kaitlyn took 1st at 19:15 and Kyleigh second at 21:02. Boys took first place and girls took second (lost by 5 points). Great job Tigers!! #HernandoRunning

The Hernando Cross Country team has been building up for the end of summer long run. Runners ran anywhere from 6 miles (for the first year runners) to up to 10 miles for the experienced ones. They did a great job! #hardwork #hernandorunning
