@alixonmartinez2 Small schools are calling in this new era though. Mid-majors performing better than ever. It shows there are a ton of overlooked players at every level and some coaches who really know how to get the best out of players. College baseball has never been more entertaining.
@Enquirer I’m just about done with this franchise. At some point this becomes willful. Blind luck would seem to deliver a better result than this franchise has delivered the past 46 years…since I started watching. And the past 30 have been dreadful.
@Stewbiedo0@ingelramdecoucy I had a trip to Grand Rapids a few years ago. I was expecting condemned buildings and a city in decline, but I was so wrong. It was a great place to visit and would go back anytime. And its proximity to the lake is and added bonus
It’s a hard lesson to learn, but when you walk out the door the last time, you’re forgotten soon. And it’s nobody’s fault, but work isn’t family. Your family will be by your side when you leave this earth, but the people at work will not be. It’s just a fact of life and you have to accept it
Let’s keep paying players $60M a year so fans can go to one game a year because it costs $500 to take your family to a game. And then of course there’s the streaming costs because it’s not in regular network/cable/whatever TV. We all need our heads checked for continuing to watch pro sports
@BarbellFi Worked at Sears a couple of summers. Guys selling TVs, appliances, etc made really good commission. One guy was making the equivalent of $150k in 2026 dollars.
It people selling clothes made zilch.
@JDrumUK My guess is everybody ecxcept Adcock can give you an inning or two today.
If Jenlkin is good to go, he starts and gives you 3-4 innings, then roll back with an inning from a bunch of guys. Maybe the slim reaper will give you a couple of innings- has to find the plate though.
@LanceMcAlister And to think none of us know his exit velocity, launch angle, BABIP, or weighted WRc+….he’s simply making winning plays. Put the ball in play, get on base, use your speed. These things still win games! Very glad for Blake Dunn
@FrankPiro1@kennyfgan You are correct. I saw him take money out of his own pocket to cover expenses. It was truly about building something excellent for a group of young men!
