The amount of maturity in this interview is next level. Most kids point fingers when they don't get playing time instead of looking in the mirror. Put in the work, be about the team and not yourself. Stay ready. Good things will come. It's about the team! #iubb#Hoosiers
🟥 #1 Michigan vs #3 Indiana ⬜️
February 2nd, 2013
After beating Minnesota, Indiana would fall asleep at the wheel and lose a tough game to Wisconsin. Following that L Indiana would win 4 straight leading up to their first matchup with mega Big 10 contender, Michigan.
Indiana defeated the Wolverines 81-73 in a high-stakes showdown. Indiana, showcased their dominance early, securing a 36-32 halftime lead. Michigan fought hard behind Trey Burke's 25 points and Tim Hardaway Jr.'s 18 points but despite their efforts, the Wolverines struggled to overcome Indiana's relentless defense and efficient shooting. Michigan's Mitch McGary added 10 points and seven rebounds, but it wasn't enough to close the gap.
Cody Zeller led the Hoosiers with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Victor Oladipo added 15 points and key defensive plays. Jordan Hulls contributed 11 points, including three crucial three-pointers, and Christian Watford chipped in with 14 points.
The win lifted Indiana to 20-2 overall and 8-1 in the Big Ten. Michigan fell to 20-2 and 7-2 in the conference.

🟥 What Could’ve Been ⬜️
Romeo Langford had an incredible high school career, but I can’t help but to think, had someone like Tom Crean gotten ahold of him instead of Archie could he have developed into even more? Also that wrist injury was nagging him all year.

My personal ALL TIME FAVORITE HOOSIER. Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell. The epitome of what it means to be a leader. A home raised Hoosier out of Indianapolis. Yogi came to IU and instantly filled the crucial PG role on the pre season #1 Hoosiers. In every year following Yogi continued to mature and improve his game becoming one of the best point guards in school history (and there are a lot of good point guards that came through IU). Yogi is the career assists record holder and a top 10 member in many other individual categories.
Yogi was the heart and soul of the Hoosier squads during his 4 years on campus, and I’d argue he is the biggest icon in modern IU history (Post 2000).

Pike Central 5'11 Sr PG Quade Morton might not be the same athlete vertically as teammate Julian Gish, he's every bit as skilled with the ball, if not more. Rival coaches share a similar sentiment: "the kid is a player." The lefty playmaker was offered by IU-Columbus last fall, but minimal since. Nothing imminent at the moment. Could help at the D3 and NAIA level. Really good kid who loves basketball. Program changing presence on the court. Pike Central was 4-42 his first 2 seasons, but improved to 24-24 the last two.
17.8p/5.0r/2.9a/1.9s making 38% on 3s (44-115), which is right at his career mark (139-370).
