“I think we are hungry again. It leaves a sour taste just the way we ended things last year. We didn’t play good football. It wasn’t organized, just in hindsight. Things just weren’t right in the run game. Communication was off. Our physicality was off. A lot of things that you need to establish the run game in order to marry the pass game. We just weren’t doing it upfront. We took a hard look at ourselves about how we can improve. Physically, come back healthier. Injury factors into a lot of execution parts. Come back this year learning a new scheme. It’s something that we welcome with open arms. It’s something we realized we can lean on because it’s a lot more friendly to us.”

Congrats to sophomore Addison Sharp on being named to the All State softball team. In the circle, Sharp was 19-4 with 2 saves, 265 strikeouts in 158.1 innings and a 1.90 ERA. She also batted .402 with 5 home runs and 35 RBIs to help lead Hanna to the state semifinals @tlhanna_ad

TL Hanna fell 4-3 in the State Championship to Chapin. The Yellow Jackets went on an incredible run as the 10 seed in the Upper State to within two wins of a State Championship. Congrats to the team on a great run in May and taking Jacket fans on an amazing ride. @tlhanna_ad

TLH rallied for 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th to force game 3 in the state semifinal series. Sam West, Phifer Glenn, and Cesar Ochoa had consecutive RBIs in the 9th, while Will Mayfield earned the win on the mound after starter Connor Brooks worked into the 9th

🏌️🏆 PGA Championship winner, Aaron Rai on why he uses iron covers: “I grew up in very much a working-class family, and golf has always been a very expensive game. I started from the age of 4 years old, and my dad used to pay for the equipment, pay for my memberships, my entry fees. And it wasn't money that we really had, to be honest, but he'd always buy me the best clubs.

When I was about seven or eight years old, (my dad) bought me a set of Titleist 690 MBs, and they were like 800-1,000 pounds back then, just for a set of clubs for a kid. I cherished them. When we used to go out and practice, he used to clean every single groove afterward with a pin and with baby oil.

Although on the PGA Tour, we get given equipment, and we get given everything that we need, it's more out of principle. The value of not losing perspective of what I have and where I am. The covers are going to stay, I'm sorry."
