@NCNSports great job Brandon & Co. calling the @Wahoo_Football and @SidneyRaiderFB game. Scotus is following the unwritten rule of rooting for the team that bounced us from the playoffs. Good luck both teams!
Always an honor to have this man on your sideline. You won’t find a bigger advocate for this sport anywhere. Bobby you truly are a gift to Nebraska High School Football! @1000ydguy
According to a recent gallop poll, 85% of people are unhappy with their jobs. I’m incredibly lucky to be in the minority! Seriously. Someone pays me to do this!?!?!?! Can’t wait to get back at it Monday!
Winter activities start with a bang. Congrats to the Scotus One-Act for winning their district today! Girls basketball drops a nail biter to a great St. Cecilia program. The boys found a way to win in the fourth! Tomorrow our wrestlers debut up on the hill. #BeTheBest
Big opening night win for the @ScotusCC boys basketball team! Congrats to all the boys and coaches! What a fun and exciting game. Be proud @elksccProV1
Mike was the biggest Scotus supporter! Words cannot describe the contributions and sacrifices he made for our community. Join me in praying for Mike and his entire family. May the perpetual light shine upon him.
Scotus lost one of our beloved Shamrocks today. Please join us in celebrating the life and legacy of Mike Cielocha. Mike is one of the most decorated athletes in SCC history. But what he did in the athletic arena pales in comparison to what he did as a husband and father. RIP
This week's #AthleteoftheWeek is Jose Cruz of the @ScotusCC boys' soccer team. He scored five goals in the 8-2 win over Madison. Two days later, he scored the winning goal to defeat Schuyler 2-1. Cruz had two goals and a pair of assists in the 8-0 win on Saturday. Congrats, Jose!
@CoachTManes 3) finally, block destruction is not only position specific but our drills vary depending on our opp. We work insert schemes agains iso teams. We work zone fallback drills against inside zone. We work a lot of rip techniques against oz teams. Butt & Press vs gap schemes.
@CoachTManes 2) we broke it down to four types of tackles. Profile, Angle, Leverage, and Swipe/Roll tackles. This information has changed every aspect of how we practice and what we teach. We do a lot of tackle circuits but they are specific to the position. D linemen don’t do what Dbs do.
