With all due respect to Tim Legler and Richard Jefferson, I miss the days of Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy on the call of the NBA Finals with Mike Breen.
@Bigrigy55@Swayze_CrazyBSB But it also allows the other teams’ pitchers to get an extra day. If we can close this out, the 2-0 teams have a big advantage with pitching.
FINAL (11): #RebsBSB 9 No. 2 Texas 8. Rebs tie it up with Bissetta grand slam then Texas sends us to extras. They prevail in 11. They improve to 16-3 (1-0). Back for Game 2 tomorrow going for a series! Townsend on the bump

Have been to Oxford 5x over the past 3 seasons to call Ole Miss games. Have seen this team/program elevate first hand, and have spent much time talking to Lane, assistant coaches, the players responsible. This is the most balanced overall team Lane had in his 6 seasons, particularly on offense, and the 2025 defense has made steady improvement. I expect them to rally and be motivated to prove a point and finish what has been a tremendous 2025 season. They have some very high character players on that team, beginning with guys like Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy, who are both spectacular. I for one look forward to seeing them on the CFP stage! @OleMissFB
Varsity girls (7-3) knock off South Pontotoc 56-48 in day 2 of the Charger Classic at Oxford HS. Meg Barbour led the Lady Patriots with 20 points. Cate Bailey added 10. JP lead by as much as 18 before surviving a furious 4Q Lady Cougar rally.
Happy Thanksgiving Prep Family!
To our fans, this team is completely locked in, living in the moment, and staying true to our 1-0 mindset for the Egg Bowl and future games. We are unbothered by anything about next year and fully trusting Coach Kiffin’s leadership to keep us moving toward our goals!
Varsity girls (4-2) extend the win streak to 3 with a 60-18 win over Central Hinds. Meg Barbour led the Lady Patriots with 22 points. Barbour, Maggie Bailey, Morgan Grimes, and Elise Williams with 5 rebounds each as JP was +22 on the glass. Prep did not allow an offensive board.
