John was an icon at Minnesota-his teams were so well coached and everyone knew you had to go through Minnesota if you wanted to win the Big Ten Title. John fought hard to make the college game better- his ideas to raise northern baseball were way ahead of the curve. The baseball community lost a great ambassador.
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Hall of Fame coach John Anderson.
Our thoughts are with his wife Jan, their daughter Erin, and the thousands he impacted during his 43 years as head coach of the Gophers.

Couldn’t think of someone more deserving than Jim Abbot to receive this tremendous honor-the humility pours out of him. A person that has added value to a lot of people.
Yes I am a die hard Lions fan but I truly believe Barry Sanders was the greatest running back ever. Even If you don’t think he was the best at least watch this and enjoy greatness!
My good friend Keith Madison sent this to me and many others. We need more people like Dave Keilitz.
MOUND VISIT
Character, Integrity, Value
My good friend, Dave Keilitz, went home to be with the Lord yesterday. He was a man of character…a true leader. People respected him for many reasons, but mainly because he exuded integrity. Our communities, our states, our nation needs more men like Dave Keilitz.
“A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.”
(Proverbs 22:1)

We lost an icon today.Dave Keilitz added value to all those who were fortunate to cross his path.He oozed with integrity and class.Personally, he was the reason I became so involved in the ABCA. He was the best of the best-One very special human-being. He will be sorely missed.
Today, we mourn the passing of one of the most influential figures in the history of the American Baseball Coaches Association and amateur baseball.
Dave Keilitz devoted more than six decades to serving the game as a player, coach, athletic director, ABCA Executive Director, mentor and friend. His vision transformed the ABCA, strengthened baseball at every level and impacted generations of coaches and student-athletes.
More importantly, Dave made everyone around him feel valued. His kindness, integrity and unwavering commitment to others will be remembered just as much as his extraordinary accomplishments.
We invite you to join us in celebrating Dave's remarkable life and legacy by reading our tribute. Please keep the Keilitz family in your thoughts and prayers.

Congrats to our guy Ty Johnson on being named the @MiLB International League Pitcher of the Week 🔥⚾️
This weekend, Ty worked through 5 no-hit innings up at Norfolk with 9Ks and lowered his ERA to 2.64 🤝
Congrats to Ball State Baseball alumnus Michael Hallquist on signing a minor league deal with the Chicago Cubs! He reports to High-A South Bend to begin his time in the organization.
