Just watched @UMBC_MBB blow a double digit lead to end their season. How is it that your 6’10” 1st team All Conference player doesn’t touch the ball or get a scoring opportunity for multiple possessions to end the game? Their guard play was POOR and SELFISH!

@CoachMario13 @CoachMario13 @MASAAUBB He continues to excel, yet tonight’s game was another example of how poorly their team is coached. He is the LEADING SCORER in the @AmericaEast, a SENIOR, and he doesn’t touch the ball the final 3 possessions. Not one touch!🤬

@RiverHawkMBB HC Pat Duquette is terrible! W/ the game on the line vs Binghampton, there was no urgency to get his team's leading scorer/leading scorer in the @AmericaEast, a touch on any the final 4 offensive possessions of the game.

@RiverHawkMBB just want to know if any of the coaches hold selfish players accountable for bad shots? And by “selfish” I mean your one who player who 40% of his shot attempts are terrible and forced. I guess avg 16 ppg gives him a pass right? Haven’t seen a change all season 🤷🏽‍♂️.

@RiverHawkMBB you bench your starting pg, only play him for 9 min, and did you really expect to win? The freshman is a “scoring” PG. Since he is a “scoring” PG and not a willing passer, wouldn’t you say starting him hurts the fire power you’d have with him coming off the bench?

@RiverHawkMBB You bench your starting JR pg whose avg 7.5 apg over the past 3 games for a FR “scoring” pg whose avg just 1.5 apg for the yr. How do you expect your SR sg who avg over 20 ppg to get quality open looks, when your other two guards aren’t willing passers?

@RiverHawkMBB @FinestMagazine He just needs some better “point guard” play in late game situations. One of the best players in the conference, and instead of his backcourt looking to get him the ball in the crunch, they’d rather hunt for their own shots and force the issue. The game film doesn’t lie! 🤦🏽‍♂️

I'm so sick of watching bad HS and college coaches allow their PGs to play selfish basketball. Unless the coach has given the kid the ultra green light and he is the only scoring option...make them be a floor general and put their teammates in positions to be successful!! DAMN!!

@RiverHawkMBB best player Christian Lutete had 23 points on 11 FGA (7-9 FT, plus 9 Reb). With 6:40 left in the 2nd half, he only gets 1 FGA the rest of the game! Bad decisions, forced shots, and selfish play by their main ball handlers down the stretch results in a loss! SMH!
