@KKPDoc This is great for Walmart because they are able to cut cost. However unemployment rates increasing is never good for the economy. Digital transformation has always been a negative foregoing thought for labor workers. Walmart is now making it a reality in the retail market.

@KKPDoc The purchased price being too high combined with FD's failing stores has cause Dollar Tree to see a significant loss. As a result, they have not been able to compete with dollar general or Walmart. As stated, They will close 400 stores and rebrand 200 FD to look like Dollar Tree.

@KKPDoc doesn't mean that the quality of their stores shouldn't be maintained in the manner expected if they were targeting the top 10%. Dollar Tree, whose target are those who make more than FD customers, sought to expand their customer base by acquiring family dollar for 8.5 billion.
