And just like that another season is upon us. Second full season as head coach, new OC, new players, same old injury bug losing a big defensive piece yesterday! Let’s see where we end this season! We have the talent to go far, but talent without effort means nothing

I can’t be the only one who thinks starting preseason in September for a league that starts in April is a good idea! Some teams are 3 weeks in! I’m enjoying the rest and being a dad 7 days a week! Britball will britball though

And just like that our season is over. First as HC and what a ride!
We added some real quality people not just players and the future looks bright for us.

Now to recharge the batteries and be a parent 7 days a week not just 6 and a bit!

It was wet, it wasn’t pretty at times but we finished our season with a 24-0 win against Norwich. Cheeky shut out to end the season with players playing in new positions.
On to Hereford next week for our first play off game since 2019. Oh and our first winning season since 2018!

Wonder if the FA will decide to change the structure of the playoffs pre season and then change the playoff date mid season after people have booked holidays etc…. No just BAFA then!

@coachDbutler We are self officiating both our under 19 (home) and senior (away) game Sunday. We gave a date that worked for both teams, only 1 game in the east on that weekend and no prem games but bafa said no….

I wish I’d have taken more time to learn from this great man. Our relationship was getting stronger all the time and we were starting to really see a change. What you have done for the juniors, the Cardinals and the wider britball community will never be matched. Thank you coach
