Starting on September 22nd, we will be practicing Tuesdays (3:30-5:00) and Thursday (5:00-6:30) outside in the stadium. We will also have time in the weight room. Register on 8-18 under Fall Contact Days. Please spread the word and retweet.

All ladies interested in participating in track and field workouts in September and October should register on 8-18. The IHSA has allowed us 20 practice days from now until the end of October.

Throwers — I’m not sure what will happen with this season, but take some time every day to workout and do some drills. Everything we do at school you can do at home. Hope everyone is doing well. Stay in contact with each other.

There will be no practice or games through April 6th. During the break From @IHSA_IL “athletes should not practice or compete with their non-school (club/travel) teams or they will be ineligible for the high school team if and when the suspension is lifted.”

Congratulations to Rose Ogbuli who signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Lewis University! We are so proud of you, Rose!! @LewisWTandF

Rose entered the state meet with a sectional seed time of 12.49 and a personal best of 12.42. She closes her track career at East with a personal best of 12.05 and a 7th place finish in State! So proud of you Rose!!!!

Jamie is sad her track career at East is over. So are we — she was always happy, positive, and funny ...... or at least fun to laugh at. We’ll all miss you next year. Good luck in Louisiana.
