At the start of this journey, many said it was an insurmountable task—an outsider challenging a four-term incumbent who was also the sitting board president. If this race had only been about me, I might have believed them. But this campaign was never just about one person. It was about you—our community—and doing what is right for our kids.

That message resonated across every corner of Alvin ISD. You showed up, you made your voices heard, and together, we achieved something remarkable. With 3,000 votes and a 17% margin of victory, the results are not just a win—they are a clear mandate for change and a new direction.

Never underestimate the heart of an educator, and never underestimate the impact of an informed and engaged electorate.
