Continuing to try to “push” your kid when they are struggling is like trying to force a square object through a round hole.
Take a step back, don’t try to be the expert or coach, ask questions to see what’s going on. You’ll be surprised what you learn and the response you get.
“When someone does you wrong, do not judge things as he interprets them or would like you to interpret them. Just see them as they are, in plain truth.” — Marcus Aurelius
Cronyism (appointment of friends and loyal associates to positions of power) is not even close to being the same as DEI.
The hypocrisy of this administration is blatant. “Joe Biden will make the economy worse” didn’t age well at all.

Never underestimate the impact you have on others.
Let’s not put a weird, positive spin on this. This took less than two days… and all I heard was how tough Trump was on Russia. Wake up.

What you need to do at the next level often requires a change in your training approach to succeed at that level. Modify/add to your current…(cont’d)
Start with one of these things that are intrinsically motivating to you.
Importantly, start with something specific and managable (so easy it’s impossible to fail), and keep a log of what works and what doesn't—this is helpful when reflecting on how it can be modified/improved.
