@jimshapiro We all need a reset every now and then, sometimes daily. Your words remind me of the song “Dust In The Wind” by Kerry Livgren of Kansas. #growwhereyourplanted#John15
Absolutely! Striving each day, week and season at building our culture and community from a Christ-centered and Biblically focused approach. #competewithpurpose#Colossians317 🦅💜🙏
Instead of thinking, 'What if I fail?' shift your mindset to 'What if we succeed and I'm part of that success?' Embrace the possibility of achieving greatness as a team and let THAT drive your motivation and determination. #TheChampionsMind 🏆
@StephenM@RepJeffries As a stand alone bill it should be passed no doubt, but alas it’s likely a package deal. What was in the bill that caused Dems to vote it down? Are you telling the full story or just your slanted version? Seeking the truth from all our congressional leaders.
Great Programs Have Great Assistant Coaches.
We often celebrate the incredible athletes and head coaches in sports.
We also need to also recognize the value of the Assistant Coach.
Here are 5 Attributes of Great Assistant Coaches.
1: The GLUE - Assistant coaches are the backbone of any team. They are the GLUE. They provide great support to both athletes and head coaches. Whether it's after a tough loss or a great victory, they're there to lift spirits, offer guidance, and keep the team focused on the bigger picture.
2: The TACTICIAN - Assistant coaches are often the masterminds behind the game plan. Their eye for detail and understanding of the sport help shape winning tactics and make in-game adjustments. They make sure the team is prepared to face any challenge on the field.
3: The DEVELOPER - Assistant coaches play a huge role in developing talent and growth in players. They provide feedback, encourage skill development, and motivate athletes to push their limits. The relationships they make leave a lasting impact on the athletes they coach.
4: The TEAM BUILDER - Building strong teams is critical for success. Assistant coaches often organize team-building activities, foster camaraderie, and create a positive team culture.
5: The WORKER - From helping organize a practice to analyzing film, assistant coaches handle many behind-the-scenes tasks that keep the team running smoothly. Their dedication allows athletes and head coaches to focus on the game.

When you doubt and criticize yourself in games, it's like you're competing against two opponents instead of just one. Don’t make it harder than it has to be. Support and believe in yourself to improve your performance.
👟 @unwcctf spent their Friday night going for a long run 💨🔥
The Eagles competed in the Wisconsin-River Falls Twilight and turned in some strong times in their first full length race of the season 👀

Loving the process means finding joy and meaning in everything that your sport consist of, from the games, practices, workouts, film study, to the team camaraderie.

Two keys to sustaining motivation:
1. Think about your goals every day
2. Work towards your goals every day
The more you think about your goals and make progress towards them, the longer your motivation will last!
The world would be a much better place if everyone took a walk every day.
No music, phone, device. Just you and your thoughts or you, a friend, and dialogue.
Consider it recess for adults. Time to allow your mind to reset and recharge.
