@NeersRS When you say ‘far worse’ things, by whose standard are you referring to?
And what ‘far worse’ things are being celebrated and advocated for to the public?
My career included stops in other cities and I loved my time with those clubs. But for me, y’all know DAMN well Cincinnati is my HOME. I love the city, my teammates, especially the FANS. I can finally say, I’m a RED4LIFE!💯🫡 #RedsCountry
@SdkMushtaha@NickJFreitas@TCNetwork Great, but here’s the kicker, Jesus isn’t a messenger of God, He Is God.
And it’s only through Jesus Christ that salvation can be obtained.
Islam and Christianity are diametrically opposed on this most important issue.
@AppFanatic04@GonzoApp The guy is a dumb ass liberal., I don’t expect much less from those with a secular world view Only reason I follow is so I know how they think to better call them out on their fundamentally wrong point of view.
@FrankieBeam2@AppFanatic04 This we completely agree on this, there’s no argument there.
Paul also explains Govt’s purpose is to protect us from evil. This is by carrying out & enforcing law. An example of enforcing law, found in OT, and continued in NT is through Capital Punishment.
@FrankieBeam2@AppFanatic04 You’re still missing the point, why are we as Christians submissive to governing authorities? What does Paul say is their God-given purpose?
@FrankieBeam2@AppFanatic04 So let’s think this through using some logic and historical context. Who was Paul riding to? And what is the significance of the location of where the church is at?
@FrankieBeam2@AppFanatic04 Stop taking my comments out of context. You are being deceitful. The Old Testament can be used to help understand context of the New Testament, which is my point.
Not strictly using Levitical law.
Do better.
@FrankieBeam2@AppFanatic04 Which is why scripture from other books of the Bible and historical context is key to helping to understand context. Levitical law allows for capital punishment. As did the Roman Empire during the time of the writing. The readers during this time would have understood this as CP.
@FrankieBeam2@AppFanatic04 Capital punishment is mentioned numerous times in the Bible. Romans 13 says the sword in vain … the context during this time period is capital punishment.
Romans 13 defines the role of Govt. The Bible defines what is morally right and wrong.
@FrankieBeam2@AppFanatic04 It’s very clear.
Read all of Roman’s 13. And also take a look at how God lays out punishment for the Hebrew nation in the Torah. Capital punishment is a biblical principle found throughout and a stark difference from the taking of innocent life with no regard to human life.
@FrankieBeam2@AppFanatic04 Paul tells us in Romans 13:1-5 that Govt is the sword, minister to God, execute wrath against those doing evil.
Giving us a clear distinction between murder in the womb and enforcement of punishment against those who do evil.
They are not the same comparison.
@AppFanatic04 When Jesus preaches, he’s not preaching to govt policy, but preaching to the people. Limiting Govt allows the individual 1) use the Bible to define what Love is. 2) have more power to show what love thy neighbor means.
@AppFanatic04 World View is key. Those of us who have a biblical worldview know there is a God, he is the ultimate authority, the Bible is Gods authoritative word, and man is sinful in need of a Savior.
From this we get a constitution that limits the authority of Government to empower people
