🚨BREAKING NEWS IN SU ATHLETICS🚨

The University has received an anonymous gift for renovations to the gym and lobby of the Corbin J. Robertson Center!

The existing bleachers will be removed and replaced with retractable chairback seats, along with a new hardwood flooring surface. Throughout the gym, aesthetic upgrades will be completed to further showcase Southwestern's unique branding and Pirate color scheme!

Construction will start in March and be complete ahead of the Pirates 2027 Volleyball season!

The FBS playoffs should do what the FCS does:

An actual 24 team playoff.

10 Conference Champs (autobids) + 14 at-large bids. Top 8 teams get 1st rd byes. 1st round is 9v24, 10v23, 11v22 etc. Higher seeds host all games through the semis. Champ. game is played at neutral site.

Does it suck watching Tulane lose yes.

Do they deserve to kick the G5 out? Absolutely not.

They are FBS just like every other school that plays this level. A G5 team is never going to win a national title. I understand that but deserve a seat at the table.

No G5 fan wants to play in a 16 team G5 NIT style tournament. Thats degrading. They play the same level of football (FBS) as everyone else. They know they aren’t going to win a national title most likely. They want a chance though.

The 16 seed in the NCAA tournament knows they aren’t going to win but they have a chance in the dance they get to play for one. Just as Tulane and JMU get to play one.

If you want to kick out the G5 from the CFP you don’t love CFB you love big games in the BIG10/SEC. That’s not loving CFB. The sport is bigger than 25 teams. Nothing anyone says is changing my mind I’m so tired of this ridiculous discourse. Ohio State destroyed my Tennessee team last season & ND destroyed Indiana (ND lost to NIU). Just appreciate all CFB.

I feel like this is the proper time to watch this video again after watching the D3 playoffs compared to the CFP. Every level of football has the playoffs figured out, every level BUT the FBS.
