@neiltyson learning about gravastars from Astrum and it raises fascinating questions. Conceptually, do gravastars exert zero gravity *only* at the surface? Perhaps exerting gravity in outward “zones”, only to be functionally neutralized at surface?

Or if gravastars are believed to exert zero gravity *whatsoever*, that seems like it would fly in the face of Newton’s 2nd - because functionally it stands to reason that it could be acted on by outward forces, but failing to *respond*. 👀
