Tick tock, Jailbreak transfer deadline is approaching!!! Requests to us by pm before the 31st July and we will do our best to accommodate you. Otherwise we can't wait to welcome you all to Cobh on Saturday 20th August!!
As Jailbreak 2020 was to take place on June 27, this decision directly affects us. Therefore, it is with a heavy heart, that we the Jailbreak committee, on behalf of Cobh Triathlon Club, have no choice but to cancel our event. ALL COMPETITORS WILL BE CONTACTED ASAP
In line with current International Triathlon Union (ITU) and European Triathlon Union (ETU) recommendations, Triathlon Ireland have taken the decision to postpone all sanctioned events up to and including 30th June 2020.
Realistically, this means running / cycling solo or maintaining the recommended 2m gap(6ft). These are unprecedented times and most of us are not used to training alone. Our behaviour will help all members of our community, the Great Island of Cobh. #SomeClubForOneClub#Orangies
Cobh Tri Club committee are appealing to ALL our members to please follow the guidelines of both the HSE and our affiliated body TRIATHLON IRELAND. Social distancing is the only way to 'flatten the curve' in this battle against the Coronavirus.
As Cobh Tri Club is affiliated to TI, the following will apply for all our members:-
TI affiliated clubs have been advised to cancel club training sessions and events until March 29th.
Thanks to all members for their patience during these very unique times.
Stay safe Orangies.
