The GenZ of Kenya 🇰🇪 have had enough.
All of africa is so proud of you. I am proud of you and proud to be african! It is time to listen to the people, the only people left with the energy to help us all, the youth!
The government comes back with the same old junk and that is insulting. What we really need from them is some actual food for the mind, not old lies and confusion. What we need to know is..
What is the source of all our problems ?
It’s money!
We need more of it to move around. We need jobs! 30 million kenyan youth are not happy you want to tax them when they don’t even have a job. Then they have the nerve to say they are making it easier for Kenyan’s to find jobs outside of the country. As if driving taxi’s in London or delivering food in NYC is what the youth want ? I can see why the youth have had enough.
The path to jobs is Pan African Trade. I don’t know what you think of when you hear Pan Africa, but it is the trade part that we must focus on. Continential state unity is another matter. We just want the money to flow across the borders of Africa, for everyone easily. That more than anything else will create jobs.
How bad are cross border payments in Africa ? Consider these points of fact.
1. Pan African continential trade is now at less than 13%, closer to 1% if you consider purely African owned businesses. This is because people/retail hardly does any trade across borders. In Europe it is 60%. 😱
2. Banks don’t work across borders in africa. So everyone is unbanked outside their country. 😱
3.Even the revolutionary mobile wallets like mpesa do not work across borders. Imagine africans leading mobile wallets before paypal and they can’t make it work across borders ? 🤯 something’s up !
4. Even crypto platforms are being crippled in africa. Binance got a Compliance monitor from the US and they shut down pan african trade on binance p2p. They did it for africa only ! Seems like someone does not want Africans to trade with each other.
5. It costs more to send money or even travel inside africa! Sending money from africa to africa is often 20-50% more expensive than the west into africa. 😱plane tickets are also often 90% more expensive than European regional flights of the same distance.
6. The last one is the same old soft sanctions we call “overregulation” Africa is the most over regulated region of the world. These regulations just strangle any economic growth and they don’t seem to help entrepreneurs ecen to set up companies. Instead young builders fly to nyc to open a delaware corp and a bank account to take payments online. What a joke.
This is why the people of the richest continent are “poor” ! They should be exinct considering this handicap. How rich would america be if you couldn’t send money from new york to new jersey ?
The question is why no one is talking about this elephant in the room ?
We were the proud premium sponsors of the first Pan African Trade Summit @pats2024 . This is the topic that we find in the voices of our ancestors.
Ghadafi of Libya wanted to deliver this gift but Hilary and the gangsters found out and all Nato attacked him and ripped libya to shreds. He wanted to export Libya’s excellent standard of living to all of Africa with a gold backed pan african dinar. He was killed.
We have lost 60 african presidents alone to assassination. Kwame Khrumah was the first to begin working miracles in Ghana in 1957, in less than a year he rapidly developed Ghana to the point where the US launched a coup. The experiment was over but it became clear to the colonizers that the black man can actually rule himself and do a remarkable job quite fast. They made sure to apply full suppression force since then.
