THE GOOD MEN OF THIS COUNTRY ARE NOT ANGRY ENOUGH ABOUT THE VIOLENCE WOMEN AND CHILDREN FACE FROM OTHER MEN.
You need to stand with the women in this fight not just when they are on the streets asking for a safer country but also when you see your male colleagues, friends and relatives normalize cruelty, discrimination and prejudice against them.
CRUELTY IS NOT JUST ABUSE, MOLESTATION AND RAPE. IT IS ALSO WORDS, PATRIARCHAL AND RELIGIOUS CONDITIONING, VICTIM BLAMING AND STEREOTYPING WOMEN WHO ASSERT THEIR FREEDOM TO CHOOSE THE KIND OF LIFE THEY WANT TO LEAD, TO SAY YES/NO, TO WEAR WHAT THEY WANT TO WEAR AND HAVE COMPLETE BODILY AUTONOMY.
Teach your sons what the world is like for women. Teach them about how patriarchy works and other social issues. Teach them about nonsexual behaviors that make women feel threatened like walking behind a woman or staring them down. Teach them consent not just before sex but also in general around women and healthy masculinity. Teach them how to make women feel safe not in a performative way but through genuine care and by setting a good example yourself. Teach them to correct and stop other men when they misbehave.
WOMEN NEED TO BE ABLE TO LIVE THEIR LIVES AND MAKE THEIR CHOICES WITHOUT THE FEAR OF A MAN ASSAULTING HER OR CONTROLLING HER. STOP PROTECTING OTHER MEN. MAKE IT SAFE FOR WOMEN TO EXIST.
I saw a video of a college girl saying how men who are as old as her father masturbate and make lewd gestures while they walk to their university. It broke my heart because we all can pinpoint instances in our lives when men have touched us, flashed at us or assaulted us. Nothing changes generation after generation and it is not just a huge failure of the government or the law but also the men (some women enablers who call us feminists like it is a slur) in this country.
@proudindia71088 Figured reading was beyond you. Signs of you being an uneducated person beyond reasonable logic are pretty blatant. You admitting this just further confirms the hypothesis. Get a life and eat glass😂💅🏻✨️
our women are on the streets fighting for a safer environment to simply exist and this man’s priority is bhajan clubbing…our country is simply beyond saving
"protect your daughters"
EDUCATE. YOUR. SON. I feel so helpless behind a screen reading all those rape cases every fucking day, any of you have brothers, male cousins, male friends, TELL THEM HOW TO TREAT A WOMAN, start young, make them feminists idgaf what the society says
Dipke talking about the upbringing difference of the girls and the guys in the increasing rape cases, and how men need to unlearn the entitlement they've received in the childhood by their families
This is the first time that I have heard a guy echo what women have been going on about for years.. 👌
@proudindia71088 Oh, go and get a life. And education if you can afford one. And, go to some of your minions who would bear to listen to this incessant and unnecessary illogical barking of yours (nobody in their right mind would). Touch some grass or eat glass😌💅🏻✨️
There are protest happening at LSR, LPU and Chitkara simultaneously.
All demanding the same thing: Safety for Women. This country has become a hellhole for women.
@proudindia71088 Go and get yourself educated, it's not that hard or expensive, unless logic or common sense is beyond you though. Oh, and while you are at it, do take a lesson in how to be kind and human. Take care.
@8rsGonnaH8@proudindia71088 Mirror, mirror. Apparently, some people are really beyond logic. I hope you do have some scope of redemption though. Education will maybe, help you, unless your whole perspective is just tainted with this cringe, hateful stance. Not fun speaking to you, take care.
The way some men are mocking women protesting for their safety tells you exactly why these protests are necessary. If women demanding the basic freedom to exist safely in public spaces is “too much” for you, maybe the problem was never the protest.
@8rsGonnaH8@proudindia71088 How do you know its her pr? Are you privy to something none of us are? Honestly, grow up and educate yourself. This is real cringe behavior. Women already have way too many actual world problems and you being a woman doing all this is not helping.
Everyone dragged her, trolled her, and blamed her over that Rakhi ad. Now she’s speaking up for women while the same people who were so loud back then have suddenly lost their voices, cowards!!
