Now that Bill Pulte has been appointed Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI), it’s worth examining the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and its extensive connections across multiple industries. This appointment has triggered intense backlash — not just because of the market implications (ie, Virtu, BlackRock, JPM, BofA, etc) many retail investors recognize, but because it directly threatens the interests of major power players (intelligence, consulting firms, media, corporations, etc). Pulte is now positioned to oversee the entire U.S. intelligence community (IC) with Donald Trump at the helm.
