Now it’s off to the races for our next Basecamp stop! We’re at @OverdriveRacer in Colorado Springs, a family-owned indoor kart racing track that has a variety of ADA accessible karts so everyone can enjoy the raceway 🏎️

Next stop for today’s Basecamp is Meadow Lake Airport with @RepDonWilson! This airport is a “reliever” airport for the CO Springs airport, with smaller planes using it so traffic stays lighter. A few Basecamp attendees even got to take a ride ✈️

We’re in the heart of Pueblo for today’s Basecamp at the @PuebloRiverwalk, where we’re getting to check out some awesome infrastructure, hear about the community’s history and tourism, and explore local businesses like the Clink and Brues Alehouse.

We’re starting today’s Basecamp with a trip to Pueblo to visit the @evrazna steel mill. Specifically in Pueblo, Evraz’s emissions are 3-4x lower than anywhere else in the US. We’re also getting to hear from Senator @NickForCO about his district.

We spent today learning how @AuroraWaterCO takes water the color in the foreground to drinking water that wins taste awards, all while being a national leader in potable reuse and conservation. #coleg

We auctioned off @commish_pelton at the Sterling Livestock Commission. Afraid we didn't get a very good price. But we did learn a lot about the economic impact of cattle production, including the many unexpected products that contain cattle byproducts, like fireworks and cake.
