In this video, the farmers can be heard saying buyers are offering as little as US$1 per kilogram, which is far below the opening price of US$4.60 per kilogram. Some farmers believe the US$4.60 price was only used on the first day to attract attention to the market.
After the opening day, prices reportedly dropped quickly to around US$1 per kilogram, with some farmers even being offered as little as US$0.50 per kilogram.
One farmer can be heard asking how he will afford transport back home after receiving such a low offer for his crop.
