Their goal is to pursue the happiness their originals desire. However, because the Ten-Tails possesses an instinct to consume everything and requires an Ōtsutsuki sacrifice, that goal became distorted. As a result, they seek to devour the person most important to their original.
The Shinju’s Rinnegan are more of a decorative feature, similar to those seen on the victims of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. This is evident from the Shinju’s abilities, which stem from the Ten-Tails and Code’s Claw Marks. The Shinju also seek to achieve happiness ⬇️

@SimplyTroy2 Yes, I was talking about Uzuhiko, and I only used the teleportation technique as an example of how Boruto could have “created” Uzuhiko. But I hope Ikemoto handles Boruto’s training better and doesn’t diminish his contribution to Uzuhiko.
@SimplyTroy2 Yes, it’s not Uzuhiko, but that doesn’t change the fact that Boruto’s contribution in the current timeline to his teleportation technique is very low, since he received almost all the information about it from Koji.
@SimplyTroy2 That’s an oversimplification. Boruto in the current timeline didn’t really contribute anything himself — you could say he basically copied something from a cheat sheet rather than actually figuring it out on his own. That’s the point I’m getting at.
@SimplyTroy2 It would be like Kakashi immediately telling Naruto that he just needs to create a third clone to add wind nature to the Rasengan (reminder: Naruto came up with that on his own).
What if the God Tree growing above the Tree People’s base contains the Ten-Tails shell that disappeared back in Chapter 4 of TBV, and that shell is actually the prototype of Jura? 👀

I’ve long been interested in the fact that Kawaki wears a scarf in Chapter 1 whose design resembles Code’s sleeves. There’s also a theory that Kawaki will place his Karma on Code in order to resurrect himself in the future.

@wyaFeda It’s a shame that Ikemoto removed that cut-like line across his pupil. It helped Boruto/Momoshiki’s Byakugan stand out from the others. Though, to be fair, that detail would probably be difficult to portray in the anime because of the Byakugan’s color.
Jura somewhat resembles the Ōtsutsuki God mentioned by Isshiki. Instead of the sphere, he has a head, and his collar has a shape similar to the God’s horns. Instead of having hundreds of eyes, he can sense the emotions of the other Tree People.

@CapybaraRogue When Chapter 34 came out, I thought it was an artificial toad created by Amado. But after noticing that Koji’s toads come in different colors, I started wondering if this might actually be one of Koji’s toads as well. And if so, what exactly is Amado planning to do with Koji?
@ANBU_EU Not exactly. If Code could have become a vessel as well, then Isshiki would have had a much better sacrifice for the Ten-Tails. It seems more likely to me that Isshiki kept Code alive and intended to turn him into an Ōtsutsuki first, only to later use him as a sacrifice.
Throughout the entire fight with Kawaki, Jura never once held his hand over his right eye. Could this mean that the scene is from a different timeline, or perhaps from the arc that has just begun?

@idiegocristo The problem isn’t the number of chapters each year, but the way the story progresses. What new information have we learned about White Karma over the past five years? How many times has Code been defeated and run away? How many times have we been reminded of Amado’s goal?
@JidaiWaOwaru They didn’t justify it. I understand that Ikemoto wants to create villains rather than antiheroes, but that doesn’t mean the villains should be empty or just evil for the sake of being evil.
@curemoonli21495 “Almost” doesn’t really count. Ikemoto has literally increased the characters’ plot armor, and if a similar moment happens again with another character, the emotional impact will be much weaker because the risk of death now feels far smaller than the chance of survival.
@curemoonli21495 You have the right to your opinion, but ask yourself this: what exactly did Inojin sacrifice in canon?
At this point, acts like these feel far less meaningful, because anyone can seemingly repeat them over and over as long as Himawari is nearby.
@curemoonli21495 Because his eyesight was restored, Inojin’s sacrifice lost much of its weight. The story is starting to feel more and more like a fairy tale, and I’m not the only one who thinks that — a lot of people feel the same way.
