Built a full real-time chat app on top of a React Native starter for my HNG stage 5 mobile task. It includes typing indicators, emoji reactions, audio messages, image/video with compression, read receipts, in-chat search, edit/delete.

2025–2026 taught us hard lessons: many big smart contract losses came from access control gaps or oracle manipulation, not exotic bugs.

Simple fix? Build with strict role frameworks, multi-source validation, and timelocks from the beginning.

Built a full task manager into my Smart Utility Toolkit:
create, edit, delete, filter + offline persistence with AsyncStorage.
Biggest challenge: avoiding premature writes before state hydration (race condition). Fixed with a load guard.
