🚨 Paul Scholes on Liverpool’s starting XI against Chelsea:

🎙️ Interviewer: “Liverpool have named a heavily rotated side full of youngsters for this Carabao Cup clash against Chelsea at Anfield. What do you make of the lineup?

Paul Scholes:

“I actually love what this lineup represents, but let’s be honest: this is a massive opportunity, and it comes with serious pressure”

“You’ve got Nyoni, McConnell, Koumas and Ngumoha starting against Chelsea at Anfield. These are the nights young players dream about. They’re not just playing for a place in the next round; they’re playing for the trust of the manager, the respect of their teammates and the hearts of supporters who want to see the next generation come through”

“But talent alone won’t be enough. Chelsea won’t care how young you are. They’ll press you, test your concentration and punish every mistake. The youngsters have to be brave on the ball, work for each other and understand what that shirt means”

“And I’ll say this: if Liverpool’s young players can stand up tonight, they could give Iraola a selection headache he’ll actually enjoy. You can talk about big-money signings all day, but there’s something special about watching a young lad come through the academy and earn his moment in front of the Kop”

“Anfield can make these nights unforgettable. Now it’s up to the players to give the supporters something to believe in.”

I go dey post 2008 Ronaldo video everyday now. Guess why? Just to make that fraud Stans cry more😂

[Odinas @Uodinas]

But 2008 Ronaldo was something else tho, I could say no current player in world (every player in this years ballon d'or XI) can replicate what he did in 2008, I just can't name one.

[𝐎𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐋𝐎𝐋𝐀  @Oyinlola_cfc]

One mistake the BOAT made was allowing the fans to decide by voting. They should’ve known Ronaldo has a massive fanbase, so fans votes were never going to be a fair way to judge this.

This just make the whole thing look rigged cuz what’s the point of an award if popularity matters more than actual performance?? 😆

🚨Hary Kane on Cristiano Ronaldo winning the B.O.A.T award.

🗣️“It’s an incredible achievement for him, he was the only ex Ballon D’or winner who send a congratulations message after I won the Ballon D’or and I’m very greatful that this was coming from one of the best players in footballer in history.”

“There’s no stopping him from being the best player, people have their opinion on the Gôåt debate but for a reasonable way you won’t doubt him if you’re a true football fan.”

My wishes are as loads of good luck for this achievement.”
