@noahleavitt @mountainherder I used to MTB w/ Looks (on road bike). I found knockoff cleats lasted about 3 weeks walking on loose stones before they were notably bad at clipping in, then 1-2 weeks before they started unclipping randomly, and you could squeeze a final 1-2 weeks if desperately saving money 🥲

I use Tusky on Android, as well as the web application downloaded as a PWA (accepting the "Add to your Home screen" popup)

On desktop I just use the web clients, especially as they have all the admin tools + features in our fork.

@nstarluna @JimAloisi If you are not on the same Mastodon server, enter Jim's complete profile URL into the search bar of your home server.

Once you do that, Jim's profile will be downloaded and you can follow.

@meptrsn @MatthewBroude Fwiw, we managed to get through the largest spikes in syncing jobs today without seeing much impact.

I have a feeling our luck will run out and we'll need to upgrade within a week (maybe two), but so far we're ok.

@MatthewBroude @meptrsn Please let me know if there are image uploading issues - there's many components in the flow (ios app, v cloudflare firewall, Mastodon server, wasabi storage server), but if we're getting 502s I should figure out what's going on.

@meptrsn @MatthewBroude (2/2) I also want to make sure our server can handle a larger load before we get listed on joinmastodon - there's very few servers on the list, so we'd probably get slammed by anyone looking for an open server.

@meptrsn @MatthewBroude Yes, that page is very likely using the servers listed on joinmastodon - which (afaik) requires us to meet a list of requirements (we should meet all except automatic backups, which is a high priority for me), and you need to be "not new" - we're likely too small.
