Lots of the King George iterations on #Hoppers were spent trying to keep him innocent and genuine. When he started to lean too schmoozy, it didn’t feel like our boi KG anymore.

@karolisgalkus A shot like this one doesn’t usually require a ton of planning. It’s so short and there’s only one action happening, so the focus is mostly just in crafting an A pose and a B pose. I think it was approved on the first showing and I just had to polish it up!

The first thing I did on #Hoppers was an anim test of Tom the lizard. I was fresh off of Inside Out 2, so it ended up being way over-animated and didn’t fit the Hoppers style or Tom’s personality at all. Whoops!
