I’m here to make it make sense.

I’m Erick, a Web3 Explainer based in Kenya and the founder of @BlockSchool_ , a Web3 education platform helping African beginners understand blockchain, digital identity, AI infrastructure, and the next internet without the jargon or hype.

I didn’t start as a Web3 expert.

I started as someone searching for simple, honest answers about what all of this actually meant.

So I decided to become the person I wished I had when I was starting.

Mine: that Africa's infrastructure gap was an advantage, not a disadvantage.

The continent that had no legacy banking system built M-Pesa.

The continent that had no legacy identity infrastructure gets to build verified payments from scratch.

Everyone I said that to in 2020 changed the subject.

The subject is changing itself now.

In 1994, a 30-year-old quit his Wall Street job to sell books on the internet.

His colleagues thought he'd lost his mind.

The window between "this is obviously too early" and "I wish I'd understood this sooner" is almost always the same size and it closes faster than anyone expects.

We're inside that window right now with verified identity infrastructure.
