I helped build Google's Inactivity account manager, it's a great feature and everyone should set it up on all their platforms.
Big use cases:
- Don't let your photos disappear, share them with loved ones
- Share account numbers and asset locations only after death
"Google allows you to choose up to 10 trusted contacts who it will notify if your account becomes inactive for a certain period of time."

All Veterans make a sacrifice to serve their country, whether physically, emotionally, or by being away from their loved ones and missing important life moments. Today we honor that sacrifice and all who served.

@therealfitz@bdowney The Takeout and Drive team are actively looking at this. I'll bring up this example to them.
The good news is that they've been looking at it for a while and I think are getting close to a fix.
Sorry about the trouble.
Super cool to see that AlphaFold solved CASP: https://t.co/ely9PSzM7X I used to run Folding@home back in the day, it's inspiring to see such quick progress
I am curious how @Spotify aligns prohibiting transfers to competing services with Article 20 of GDPR, it would seem like there is a "technically feasible" way to do a direct transfer, they would just prefer people didn't: https://t.co/QL5QseYRGd
@sehetw For zip you can change compression setting per file and we don't re-compress compressed files. We toss them in zips because: a) It makes it easier to download b) when we start writing the zip we don't know how compressable the rest of the files will be.
@KaeEsrial @SwiftOnSecurit1 @LeaKissner@SwiftOnSecurity Hey, sorry you weren't able to use Takeout when your account was suspended, I work on Takeout and I was hoping to look into what happened, could you email [email protected] and we can look into it and hopefully make things a little smoother for others in the future
@RossSchulman Hey @RossSchulman, great article, qq: for Firefox's canary domain, can't ISPs block the domain and force all their subscribers into sending DNS traffic to the ISP in the open and allow them to keep collecting that data and profiling users? Any indication that ISP are doing that?
