[Dark Aether] [Official Canon]
In Die Maschine you can find the deceased human remains of both Orlov and Medvedev; the two Omega soldiers who were forcibly volunteered to restart the cyclotron.
We used to get actual environmental storytelling in these games!!
@KeeperNog Bo6 and 7 have various greebles spread around that if you just pay a glance at will give the passing notion that there's something there, but if you stop and look at it you'll quickly realize there's nothing actually there.
Shallow as a puddle.
Does anyone else remember when CWZ was setting up Project Janus as this "nu-illuminati" esque faction that very likely were going to be the actual main antagonists of black ops 6 zombies?
Treyarch followed this up by going "well actually they exploded before Requiem even got out of their prison cells "; and we just got a super super super watered down mustache twirling eddie, and the sambot instead...
@Suprale34 In cw it was very clear Eddie was going to be a fake out antagonist who was just exploiting Janus's agenda to get his son back.
By the time of bo6 any degree of separation between Eddie and Janus was completely forgotten about.
@KingKimmich__ Kevin Drew has never been a story person. During CW the main story people were Craig Houston and Joesph Puralewski; the latter of which did major parts of the intel system
@TheRealPdGaming Don't know for sure, but considering they just retconned huge chunks of Aether, and even Vanguard lore in Totenreich and the other maps; I think they don't have one anymore.
@TheRealPdGaming I think you are referring to my good compatriot Bob, but yeah Joesph Puralewski who was the lore keeper for the Aether and Dark Aether stories left shortly after CWZ ended.
@caramelopasion_ Esp evident when you look back at MWZ and see that all the set up in that game was for bo7 stuff instead of what should've technically been the more important game to the story, bo6.
