@Peter_Bukowski You guys just paid 27m a year to a dude who's never played a full season and never cleared 700 yards. All your NFC north rivals are cheering on this move and rightfully so. You cheeseheads are beyond delusional.
HR: We lost a high-performing employee today.
CEO: What happened?
HR: The company hired someone fresh out of college into the same role and paid them more than him, even after he gave us 11 years.
CEO: But we pay well for this job.
HR: He earns 55,000 after more than a decade of loyalty. The new hire started at 70,000.
CEO: That’s unfortunate, but that’s the market rate for new talent.
HR: And now we’ve lost the person who actually carried the role for years.
CEO: Fine. Declare the position vacant.
HR: With what budget?
CEO: 80,000 starting salary.
Companies will underpay loyal employees for years, then suddenly find a bigger budget the moment those employees leave.
The problem is rarely money. It is how little they value the people who stayed.
CALLER: I put $3,000 worth of monthly expenses on my credit card and pay off in full. I get 2% cash back, so that's $60 back every month.
DAVE RAMSEY: Get rid of the card. You're telling me that you spend $3,000 on a high interest credit card, just to get $60? That's not how you get rich!
CALLER: I don't pay interest, I pay it off every month and get $60.
DAVE RAMSEY: Get rid the card, use debit cards ONLY!
CALLER: So give up the $60 I get back monthly?
DAVE RAMSEY: That's not how you get rich!
In reality, if you are resposible, USE credit cards. It's not just cash back. It's also liability protection.
Every dollar matters.
@Section344Lions Joe Thuney is a HOFer. Penei Sewell is great but not even close to a HOF nod so far in his career.
Joe might be one of the best lineman to ever play the game of football.
wild statement my guy.
2010. President Obama shoots down the whole "stop deportations and just let the illegal immigrants be" argument that the Democrat party is currently pushing.
