@WeHaveWaysPod about 150 episodes into the back catalogue of the pod, it’s fantastic listening as I do my daily work as a baseball groundskeeper at Stanford University. I am curious though about how you guys met each other and became friends?
@CCupo feel like I’ve failed not knowing that it’s Gigi’s bday today. Watching him was one of my earliest footballing memories in a bar in North Beach in SF (with my dad, because I was like 9) watchin him get to the final of the WC. Indelible memory for a little Italian American.
@CCupo one of my simple football pleasures is when Italian footballers miss a shot, spin away and talk to themselves and talk with their hands. It’s a frustration only Italians can properly convey, and I absolutely love it. Like the footballing version of my Nonno fixing a car
Said it before—this field is proof that if the NFL was really committed to giving the players grass surfaces, the league could. It just costs more than they want to pay for it.
@Knox_Harrington I try to be fair and balanced after matches win or lose and a major reason for that is your post match email to TAW subscribers. Always a passionate view of a result good or bad, that is likely more literary and insightful than what I could muster, thanks Neil.
@Haveawordpod@adamrowecomedy@DanHasAPodcast lads, moving house this week, gf left me to do it solo, I planned a trip to the dump (that’s what we call a tip in California). Lady in front of me was gettin rid of old windows, never had more fun gettin rid of trash ever!
@Knox_Harrington just finished Transformer. Lovely moments and memories beautifully depicted. Especially love the Firmino chapter. I too hope that at some point there is an Oceans 11 black and white reunion scene where they laugh and greet each other and remember the best times.
