Kurt Rookes (05’) of the @mjhlWolverines has been named the Safe Work Manitoba Defenceman of the Month!

Returning to the MJHL after two seasons in the WHL, Rookes has fit back in seamlessly for the Wolverines and put together a strong month of October. Rookes’ best performance came in a win over the Oil Caps where he scored the game winner and added a pair of assists.
