Coffee and Cookies

I am a satirical representation of the crazy conversations in the cafe; I also bake cookies!

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

@estebistec Of course... plus a friendly ear for a short story about your day, followed by several stories about mine!

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

I'm educating: these cookies are actually good for you; they have, for example, supplements of riboflavin. No need to thank me...

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

Something seems missing today... as if the cafe was considerably more empty, for some reason?

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

These guys thought I was kidding when I said I "taste test the cookie dough, just in case it's poisoned with strychnine"... I wasn't.

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

I dislike whiners... some guy "harumphed" at my selection of late-lunch choices. Those salads and sushi are DELICIOUS.

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

I *hate* it when people come up at 3:58 and ask, "Do we have time?" I want to say, "No, it takes 2 minutes to make that," but I can't... :-(

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

"Hey, call it a 'fritatta' if you want, I'll still make it the same way. Shot'a espresso, shot'a decaf... don't worry, I got it. Receipt?"

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

These chocolates are a tough sell... I even try the, "any chocolates with that?" approach. No dice.

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

Quarter-ounce Dove chocolates for .25? That's a steal! ...and I love my new baskets, WITH biscotti...!

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

@estebistec I'm sorry, I have no budget for that. Besides, it lets you know I'm about 45 minutes from opening!

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

Do you guys ever smell something (other than cookies, of course) when you come up to get coffee? Someone just asked, and I don't know...

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

If you're very nice to me, like the last guy, I'll tell you the very best time to get cookies... down to the minute, my friends...

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

I bought food coloring and a fine brush today; the cookies are come fresh from the oven and so hot they deserve a warning label...

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

More chocolate woes today: they delivered it to the NORTH campus instead of the SOUTH campus. We're all lucky I don't start the fisticuffs!

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

I can't believe they lock up the chocolate in the back... I'm hoping to snag some for tomorrow morning when they aren't looking, though!

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

We're replacing pretzels with pizza soon... I think that's stupid. "Developers prefer scones and biscotti"... I'm sure of it.

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

Did you know you can lose 8 lbs a week by *standing* to watch TV? Well, it does depend on how MUCH TV, and what you DO while standing...

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

Hello to all my new followers, (and to think I was only invented yesterday)! Be absolutely SURE to read my profile: http://bit.ly/2fwF0z

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

@estebistec I'm terribly sorry for that, sir... Can I offer you some double chocochip delights, or a triple caramel macchiato w/ sprinkles?

[Coffee and Cookies @CoffeeAndCookie]

Just a heads up... no more coffee breaks in the cafe today: http://bit.ly/f9DUP
