Well done to our Y6's for their performances during their leavers' assemblies, yesterday & today - you are all superheroes! They followed this up by having a wonderful time outdoors, at their leavers' event, with a final Forest School session & an inflatable obstacle course too.
What a fabulous night our choir & Y6 guitarists had at The Symphony Hall, last night, as part of the Youth Proms @SFE_MS #sfeensembles#symphonyhall Many thanks to staff at Cofton, Services for Education, Symphony Hall & parents/carers who attended too - it was very special. π΅
It was lovely to welcome Y5 from The Olive School @OliveSmallHeath to Cofton, yesterday. The children had a wonderful time together, although it was a shame they weren't able to use Forest School, due to the weather. Still, they made the best of their time together.
A group of our Y2 & Y4 pupils had a wonderful time at The Symphony Hall @THSHBirmingham, yesterday, as part of the Music for Youth festival @musicforyouth . It was amazing! Many thanks to staff at TSH for their help, kindness & very complimentary comments about our pupils.π΅
It was lovely to have Y1 pupils from Sladefield Infants, once again, come to visit Y1 Beech & Birch classes as part of our school linking programme. The children had such a wonderful time together, behaving beautifully. They especially had a fun time in Forest School! π³
Many thanks to Sarah, Kathryn & Anna, from Birmingham City Mission @Bham_City_Missn, who delivered a wonderful assembly to KS2 & a follow-up 'Moving On' workshop, to support transition to secondary school, with our Y6 pupils. It will have helped them with their transition days.π

Y5 had an amazing time at Blackwell Adventure @Blackwelladv . Many thanks to all the staff who helped and encouraged our children to push themselves to do their very best - they have made some great memories! π
Many thanks to Shahz, one of the coaches from Warwickshire County Cricket Club @WarwickshireCCC , who came to work with our Y2 and Y5 pupils, on Friday. It was a wonderful experience for them all! π
A group of our Y5 & 6 pupils had an incredible experience at The Edgbaston Priory Tennis Club @EdgbastonPriory, yesterday. Many thanks to the brilliant staff who coached our pupils & for making the children feel so welcome around the site -they loved watching the live tennis! πΎ
Y6 had a wonderful time at the NEC when they attended the STEM Big Bang Fair, on Wednesday @BigBangUKSTEM Two of our Y6's had 'starring' roles on stage too!
Y6 Oak B had a wonderful time at Worcester University Lakeside Campus, this week. They showed excellent perseverance & resilience with climbing, kayacking & bushcraft skills - they were superstars! Many thanks to all of the staff there for making it such a memorable day.
A huge 'well done' to our Y6 pupils for completing their SAT's, this week. They've worked very hard, showing great resilience! However, we love this poem - it shows all the things that aren't measured by SAT's - the most important things. π
