If it wasn’t for my fourth grade teacher I would have never found my passion for writing and I would probably not be pursuing the career I am today. Thank a teacher because they change our lives whether we know it or not! 🧡#EDUC331#TeacherAppreciationWeek
Ready for round two? This time I get to speak with my MOM on what her experience has been like within her 35 years in the classroom. #EDUC331

My favorite source is Common Sense Media. It is a great source to check-in for teachers or list for parents to check new sites of their own. It is easy to manipulate and holds a lot of valuable information about weaving through this digital time. #EDUC331
As teachers we have to make sure the sources we are giving are safe. Because all of this is so new we cannot just send out whichever site we feel we can, we still have to check the boxes of safety through digital citizenship #educ331
I think the biggest assumption we have made is that one to one tech is always beneficial. We are feeling the backlash of the “why fix what isn’t broken” thinking. Students who have made do with the brokenness now can’t. #educ331
Because technology is so new we thrive to include it, but after Michael’s data impute I will offer resources both tech fueled as we as more “traditional” means to reach all students not just ones who have the means. #educ331
I don’t believe this has changed my belief of equity just placed in a new light. I think it brought to my attention the fact that it is not just internet access in order to find the ground of digital equity. There is much more at hand. #EDUC331
GUESS WHAT?! Global Education has lead students to be more empowered AND engaged. Looking for a new way to shake things up in your classroom? Global Education is the way to go! #CelebrateMonday#pstpln
As a teacher in the 21st century, I am very excited to take on the #PSTPLN challenge! I'm hoping to gain new ways to reach people as well as new ways to tweet for my future students!
@2020Abril I agree, I think even being presented the choice to do something along the lines of something they have a connection to is huge, something I never got a lot of in my personal schooling.
