What a fantastic day at #PeerForum26. The choice of presentations and workshops was amazing. Great to hear from student leaders and colleagues from Norway, Sweden, Portugal & Canada on Peer-Led Initiatives in HE. #PeerSupport#PALS#EdBudds#SportBudds
Looking forward to this. A day spending time with like minded people on Peer Support and Learning. The conference has speakers from universities across the UK, Europe and as far flung as Canada.
And that's a wrap, the final day on campus for year 1. Recall day for hashtag#MAPEYear1 started with a hearty breakfast in Leve's, continued with placement reflections and ended with cake. Well done Year 1, have an amazing summer #MAPE#UniversityofEdinburgh
We are so proud of our MAPE Student cohort and all the hard work they have put in to raise funds for our chosen charity. £3,900 for this important charity takes the total raised for charities over the last five years to £18,560 #MAPE#UniversityofEdinburgh#MorayHouse
The Year 3 MAPE EdBudds Committee brought a long-lost annual event back to life on Monday night. The MAPE Talent Competition. 'Acts' from across years 1 to 3 sang/danced their hearts out for a great cause. This year's events are raising funds for Charlie Boys Cancer Foundation
Nothing tugs at the pedagogical heartstrings like seeing our MAPE cohort come together to support their chosen charity. Students from Years 1-3 gathered for their annual charity ball, raising funds for Charlie Boys Cancer Journey #MAPE#EdinburghUniversity
Thanks to Dr Andrew Horrell for delivering the final Academic Cohort Lead (ACL) session to our Year 1 students on the MAPE. Starting our conversation about AI and GenAI as early as possible #UniverstyOfEdinburgh

Left home early in the snow this morning, and arrived at a sunny (but chilly) @EdinburghUni It was lovely to meet some of the Language Education staff and students, to start the process of establishing an EdBudds #PeerSupport system as part of our Student Support #MorayHouse
People who have been there throughout the journey. Stoyd Boyd and I were born 15 days apart, same nursery, primary, and secondary school, with a shed load of adventures along the way. Got together with Dad and Bro, a pint, and we took a very long wander down memory lane 🤔 ❤️ 🙌
And we're off ... the first meeting of the MAPE Year 3 EdBudds Committee. Planning our annual Charity Ball, Placement Advice Sessions hashtag#PLW and a range of other events hashtag#PeerSupport @MorayHouse
The end of day one in semester two. It started with Educational Studies 3 and ended with Wicked Problems: Reason and Rhetoric, a packed day of teaching. Good to be back on campus and great to see our students @MorayHouse@EdinburghUni
