Some of y’all may remember that our older daughter had a mental health incident in May. She was cleared to go home to NoVA w/ her husband but never got better. 16 days ago, she did an act she couldn’t come back from. She passed away at UVA Medical Center about 2 hours ago. 😢🥺

It's not uncommon to lose friends when you acquire chronic illness and disability. It's a harsh reality that those of us in our communities face along with isolation & adjusting to a new way of living.

Bad news: I tested + for #COVID19 I had several symptoms, but no fever. My primary doctor sent me #Paxlovid (5 days worth) & I began it today. I'm a bit scared but I'm under the BEST possible care. My Lupus flare left my immune system vulnerable. But I will fight & NEVER GIVE UP!
