Hubie could really cuss. We had a game in Virginia where there was no one in the stands. I was broadcasting it, and it was so quiet that you could hear the shoes squeaking, the ball hitting the floor on a dribble and banging against the rim. You could also hear Hubie and his imaginative cussing. I was trying to to talk as much and as loudly as I could, but Hubie was still going over the air. At halftime, Hubie’s wife called and said, “For God’s sake, you can hear Hubie swearing on the radio. Can’t you do something?”
I said I’d try to talk a little louder.

Been advocating for a Bourbon Entertainment District for years. Sell the Yum Center to a group that owns the team. Include nearby PARC properties. Get rid of the LAA and TIF to incentivize other Downtown developments. Redeem bonds in 2027 which terminates UofL lease! Renegotiate!
