Kira Perez couldn’t even come home from work without her boyfriend expecting sex and when she said no, his reaction became a problem. She explained that at first, his behavior seemed strange, but she eventually started seeing a pattern in the way he acted after her adult-industry shoots.

“It was one of those manipulative kind of, ‘I want to live off you and be your little puppy dog in your purse’ type…”

But the manipulation didn’t stop there.

“I would come home from work and I’m like, ‘Sure,’ and I don’t know why he had to maybe—it was a gratification thing or because of his own insecurities.”

Then came the part that really stood out.

“I’d work, right, and he’d get upset when I’m like, ‘Babe, I’m sore. It hurts. I can’t right now.’”

The host immediately picked up on how unusual the situation was.

“You serious? That’s interesting because it’s usually the other way around.”

And when the conversation turned to why her boyfriend wanted sex specifically after her shoots, she suggested it may have been about control.

“Do you think it’s because he wanted to feel like, at the end of the day, he wanted to be on you?”

She agreed that control could have been part of it.

“I definitely think he was, definitely, because he was younger.”

The age difference wasn’t necessarily the biggest issue, though. She explained that despite being close in age, their experiences were very different.

“Mentally, we ranged right on a whole level.”

“I understood my job because I’ve been there. He hasn’t.”

And when she actually told him no, that’s when things could escalate.

“When you would tell him no, what would happen? He would get really mad and we’d argue or fight.”

What started as a boyfriend wanting intimacy after she came home from work became something much more complicated — involving insecurity, control, and anger when she didn’t want to have sex.

“Babe, I’m sore. It hurts. I can’t right now.”
