A wonderful Christmas production by Y1 today - the first time many of them have performed to an audience. Some really strong, clear voices and utterly brilliant singing!

Resting after a busy day today.
Mavis listened to children in Year 1 and Year 2 read and in between she enjoyed a game of “Sniff and Wag” as children placed cheese on the multiples of 10 on the playground number line for her to sniff out!

A wonderful day at @steam_museum for our Y1 pupils today. They’ve been learning all about Brunel, bridges and railways and this was a great day to see much of this in action. The icing on the cake was a talk from our very own Miss Kemble #engineersofthefuture @bluekitetrust

Mrs S LOVED taking Science Club today. We had a bit of a Humpty theme going on where the children had to design a safety bag to protect him when he fell off the wall.
We discovered Humpty was actually quite a nosey neighbour who liked disco dancing on walls to party music...

This morning, Mavis and Mrs S were out early, surveying the veg beds in the sunshine. Onions and garlics are making an appearance 🧅 🌱 😀

@Usborne still waiting for delivery of books ordered by parents on 13.5.22. No communication from rep or head office.Parents and children disappointed and let down after paying for items but nothing received. School still hasn’t received the books we were promised,either 🤷🏻‍♀️
